The glory of Kartik month and following its rules

👉Sutji said to the Maharishis: The very divine effect of the sin-killing month of Kartik has been described. This month is always dear to Lord Vishnu and provides fruits like enjoyment and salvation.
👉 ‘Vigilance near Lord Vishnu at night, taking a bath in the morning, being engaged in the service of Tulsi, doing Udyapan, and donating lamps — these are the five rules of Kartik month.’ -(Padma Purana, U.Khand: 117.3)
👉By following these five rules, the person fasting in the month of Kartik enjoys the full fruits of the fast. He is said to be the one who enjoys fruits and provides salvation.
👉Morning bath in the month of Kartik is a destroyer of sins. In this month, the person who gives up food for others gets the fruits of Krichchhravata every day.
👉Krichhravrata (In this, fasting is done on the first day and drinking Panchagavya on the second day.)
👉 Consuming honey, eating bronze utensils, and having sexual intercourse should be especially avoided during Kartik.
👉The fruit that is obtained by donating earth to Brahmins during the eclipse of Moon and Sun, the same fruit is automatically obtained by the man who sleeps on the ground in Kartik.
