Holi 2024: The tradition of Holika Dahan started with Erich

Holika idol
An idol has been found during excavations in Eruch, which according to local belief is of Holika. This idol has the figure of a woman with an infant in her lap. Local people believe that this idol of Holika and devotee Prahlad was made and is five thousand years old. Presently this statue has been installed at the place where Holika was actually burnt. Special worship is done here on Tuesday.
